GoHighLevel Course

Creating and selling courses online is now accessible with the GoHighLevel platform. This platform allows users to develop, host, and market an unlimited number of courses to their audience.

Payments can be managed easily by integrating with Stripe or PayPal, giving users the choice of accepting one-time payments or recurring subscriptions. The courses can then be offered to learners seamlessly, allowing for a smooth transaction and distribution process.

What Kinds of Courses Can You Offer on GoHighLevel?

GoHighLevel allows users to offer various types of courses. After creating the content, go to the courses section under Sites and Memberships. Here, you can choose from four different course options to make available for sale.

Sprint Course

The Sprint course serves as a streamlined guide to help get started quickly. Everything needed is already set up; users just need to add their own material.

Each lesson page can include text, one video, and extra documents like PDFs and Word files. For those needing more depth, extra lesson pages, subcategories, and evaluations can be added.

GoHighLevel created this Express blueprint to facilitate the creation of paid course memberships or selling course bundles. This type of course is also perfect for upselling or as an introductory offer.

Marathon Course

The Marathon Course is a detailed training program crafted to boost skills in a specific area. This course covers a lot of material, making it suitable for a higher price point. Unlike simpler courses, this one allows for the modification, addition, or removal of sections to best fit the learner’s needs.

Key Features

  • Comprehensive Material
  • Flexible Sections
  • Higher Pricing Potential

Membership Sites

Membership sites allow users to access continuous, subscription-based content. Members pay monthly or annually to get all existing and future materials. This model is great for releasing regular new content or hosting live webinars and Zoom training sessions. It suits platforms with a lot of material that requires a long time to go through.

Custom Product

Creating your own course from scratch allows complete flexibility. Add lesson pages, subcategories, and assessments in any order you choose. This approach is ideal when your course content doesn’t align with pre-made templates. With a blank slate, you can tailor the structure to meet the unique needs of your clients. This method ensures that every aspect of your course is perfectly designed for your specific audience.

Creating an Offer

To sell your course, head to the Memberships tab and select Offers from the dropdown menu.

Begin by filling in the title and a short description for your offer.

Select the courses you want to include. For instance, an Express course can be added to a subscription-based membership.

Adjust the course price by clicking the Edit button. Prices can be set as free, one-time, or recurring subscription payments.

Please NOTE!

Before setting a price or subscription, it’s important to set up a payment processor like Stripe and integrate it with GoHighLevel. A free trial or a one-time fee can be added to subscription payments. Once satisfied with the details, click Save in the top right corner.

Next Steps:

  • Click Edit Checkout to preview the landing page
  • Add a banner image or video
  • Include service agreements
  • Add fields for customer contact information

By following these steps, you can ensure everything runs smoothly.

Adding GoHighLevel Course Extras

Adding extras to courses can increase profits. There are two main upsell options:

  • One-Click Upsell: After purchasing a course, users are shown another course on a new page. They can buy or ignore this.
  • In-App Upsell: Some course materials can be locked. Customers must pay an extra fee to access this content.

These upsell features help maximize revenue by encouraging additional purchases.

How Users Are Billed for Your Course

Users receive a link to your course signup page. This link can be added to marketing emails, sales funnels, websites, or landing pages. Once users click the link, they land on the signup page where they input their details.

After submitting their information, they are taken to a payment page. Here, they enter their payment details and are charged accordingly.

Courses can be billed as one-time payments or subscriptions. To enable this, connect your course to a payment processor like Stripe or PayPal. If using another payment processor, integrate it through the third-party app, Zapier.

There are no limits on course members or purchases. You can promote and sell your course offer through multiple campaigns without restrictions.
